Join me on a photography workshop around the streets of Cambridge and learn how to see things differently around the city.
These group sessions are open to all levels of photographer being a great introduction to the basics of street photography as well as sharing more advanced techniques.
Some of the areas covered during the session will be-
• Getting over the fear of shooting strangers on the streets.
• Recognising different types of light and showing how to use it.
• What to look out for, anticipation and how to work a scene.
• Composition, framing and subframing techniques.
• How to isolate your subject.
• Layering interest in your work.
• Introducing textures.
In keeping a small group on these workshops, I am able to offer clear instructions to the group and also spend time with the individual participants, answering any specific questions that they may have.
Meeting outside Cambridge Railway Station at 10am, the group will follow a preplanned route taking in various locations, finishing the workshop in a central location at approximately 3.30/ 4pm.
The route is approximately 4 miles and although it is very slow paced it may not be suitable for everybody. Please contact me if you have any concerns.
